About
Sarah Pistone currently serves as CEO (“Chief Everything Officer”) of HDVine LLC. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Geosciences from Smith College and a Master of Science degree in Energy Resources Engineering from Stanford University. Sarah (CPESC #9225) serves on the Strategic Advisory Council for EnviroCert, the governing body for professional certifications in erosion control, stormwater management, and green infrastructure. History
HDVine LLC is a consolidation and rebrand of two prior companies, LincolnAE LLC and Horizon Designs LLC. LincolnAE LLC was established in 2003 by Bill Lincoln to provide vineyard design and operation services. Sarah created Horizon Designs LLC when she started taking over for Bill in 2016. Bill (CPESC #2296) continues to serve as an advisor to HDVine LLC.
Employees
Justin Loughner (March 2023 – Present) is a Sonoma State grad with experience in IT, tech support, and earth sciences. He brings focus, attention to detail, and a desire to learn more about the business.
Tyler McCarthy (June 2023 – Present) is a recent University of Washington (U-Dub) graduate with a degree in Environmental Science and Resource Management. He brings ArcGIS Pro experience and a keen aptitude for applying his knowledge to new projects.
Alums
Joseph Voss (March 2023 – May 2023) is a Cal State grad with experience in wine-making and GIS analysis. He helped document GIS analysis protocols in ArcMap and QGIS. Outside work he has a passion for travel and wine.
